FAQs

Do you have questions? Here is our FAQ page.

What is special about Huang Ya Yellow Tips?

Huang Ya is a rare yellow tea from China, made from the delicate, yellowish-green leaf buds of the tea plant. Through the special processing – a slow, lightly fermenting "yellowing" of the leaves – a soft, round tea with mild sweetness, floral notes, and a very fine depth is created. Elegant, gentle, and hardly known outside of Asia.

When is the best time to drink Huang Ya?

Ideal for early afternoon or as a calm companion during creative phases. Huang Ya has a balancing effect, is slightly invigorating, and is particularly well-tolerated. It brings clarity without harshness – a tea for refined senses.

How do I prepare Huang Ya hot?

1 tsp in 200 ml of water

Can I also brew Huang Ya cold?

It has a flavor profile between green and white tea, but is rounder and significantly less grassy. Compared to Silver Needle, Huang Ya is fuller, warmer, and subtly sweeter – with an almost velvety aftertaste. A tea for those who are looking for something truly special.
