When is the best time to drink Tie Guan Yin?
Ideal for the afternoon – when you want to relax but not feel tired. Tie Guan Yin has a balancing and slightly stimulating effect – also as a Cold Brew, it serves as a gentle companion into the evening.
How do I properly prepare Tie Guan Yin?
1 tsp in 200 ml of water
Temperature: 85–90 °C
Steeping time: 1–2 minutes
Up to 3 infusions possible – with each round a new aroma develops.
Is Tie Guan Yin suitable for Cold Brew?
Tie Guan Yin is milder, less grassy, and distinctly rounder in flavor. The light fermentation gives it more depth and a softer structure than classic green tea.
